Should we do a list of most voted for politicians next?

What's really sad is that John McCain had about three times as many votes as Limbaugh has listeners, but Limbaugh is still the leader of the Republican party.

I actually think Mark Levin is better than some of the people who get more ratings than him.
I can't wait until Obama's socialists get "localism" going. That way we can have radio programs that nobody wants to listen to

The message is ok with Levin, but I can not stand the voice. And I do not like the way is swings to the extreme every time.

It's amazing how his voice doesn't match his face.

I like how you say it like it's uncommon that a better quality product doesn't translate into better ratings. It's kinda the norm, unless you think the High School Musical soundtrack, for example, was the best album made in 2006.

I doubt you'll have to worry about it - you'll probably be taken to a FEMA concentration camp for thought crime by the time that takes effect. No radios there anyway.

angry? No. I enjoy having a life which allows me to have better things to do than sit on my ass and be told how to form my political beliefs from someone else.
Confused and perplexed? Yes. Where do these people find the time to waste so many hours a day and if they have so much free time why spend it dumbing themselves down listening to AM hate radio? Do they hate leaving the house that much? No wonder our economy tanked, so many conservatives don't do jack during the day.

No, sometimes a better quality product doesn't translate into better ratings. However, generally speaking there is a correlation between the quality of product and how much of it people purchase (or in this case how often people listen). I know that may be hard for you to accept since you don't understand why people choose to listen to conservative radio show hosts, but it's the truth.

I wouldn't say all of those listeners are conservatives. Hell, I've listened to Limbaugh from time to time....I don't know why. I know the guy is a giant windbag, I know I'm probably going to get angry after listening to his rant, yet sometimes I tune in anyways. As much as I hate the guy, I have to give him credit for being good at what he does. I think a lot of people are looking to get angry about something when it comes to politics, and Limbaugh aptly provides that outlet for both sides.
The one that I don't understand is Sean Hannity. As far as conservative talk show hosts go, he's an especially dim bulb and if you want to listen to conservative radio, you can find plenty of other options who aren't nearly as idiotic. I mean, the guy was getting slapped around by Michael Moore. If you're a conservative, you don't have to watch your guy go through that.

Did it ever occur to you that people were listening to these radio shows while they were WORKING? You know, working class folks who work with their hands and can listen to the radio at the same time? The kind of people that liberals claim to represent but in reality loathe?

Limbaugh created the format and look at the imitators.
A guy like Levin has to do something to rise above the rest and being less conservative isn't the ticket with that core audience.
I listen to a lot of radio when driving and working. But right wing talk has had very little that's new to say in a decade. Just change the names and its the same rants.

If you leftie looney toons want an example of a right wing hate mogerer, it's not Rush or Sean, it's Savage.
I am happy to see Dave Ramsey moving up the list, this is hopefully a sign that Americans are getting their heads out of their asses in regards to money.

I agree.. I listen to right wing hate radio from time to time..
Limbaugh is kind of funny in some ways.. I feel bad for someone that hates America as much as he does, though.. although I suspect he doesn't truly believe most of the stuff he says.. he just enjoys seeing his bank account go up.
Hannity, as you mentioned, simply strikes me as unbelievably dumb.. he also seems truly, truly angry and hate-filled...
but it's fun to listen to from time to time.. I always marvel at how sad these people must be when their day-to-day lives depend on waking up and realizing how much they hate themselves and the world.
but, ya know, it's a free country.

and Fox News and the USCOC.
Unfortunately for BO as a result of that FNC's ratings are probably up and USCOC's membership/donations are probably up. Either BO's administration screwed up or they were looking to help these two institutions.
