Like the offer, hope we didn't get on him too late. He likes Stanford quite a bit.

UM offers he's probably gone, though.

Runningback. Apparently put up some pretty good numbers in the weight room...

It's hard to imagine MSU takes more than one rb...so it's interesting to say the least.

That's..surprising. Doesn't seem to really fit MD's style.

He would if offered but he didn't get one at camp and I'm doubting he would get one until later, if at all.

Reminds me of Andre Anderson - who we all thought didn't fit the MD mold either. It looks like Andre isn't going to be getting much playing time under MD. We'll see what happens with the Hill recruitment.

I'm going to be careful with this one, ummm....how should I say this, I'm very curious about this offer or maybe stumped. I haven't seen him play, but I'm guessing with the offer that came, he must be ridiculously fast/elusive. I'm hoping anyway

Apparently he has legit 4.4 speed and is an amazing kick returner.

I have no problem with offering a shifty scat back like this. He would provide a good change of pace with Baker and Caper. The Darren Sproles like kick returning does not hurt either.

He would be the best legit prospect MSU has had as a punt returner since Derrick Mason.

His scout profile lists a Notre Dame offer and no MSU offer. I know he's got an offer from us, and I didn't hear anything about Notre Dame offering him so I'm guessing this is a typo?

The RB at the high school I teach at was up in EL for the junior day event. He never received an offer, however has committed to a different Big Ten school (lower level)...so he is a decent player. They flat out told him that they are going to take one RB this year and that is it. He really appreciated their honesty.

So yeah, it looks like just one RB this year.

Also, have a video highlight of him.
Do you think that we offered him becuase our chances with White are diminishing or because he is a talent?

A bit of both.

I don't think this kid will ever be our featured back (Caper and Baker are only one class ahead of him), but he will be a nice change of pace back and a threat when it comes to kick returning.

White would be a featured back.

hill is most comparable to the Rogers brothers from what I've heard. Really surprised Michigan isn't biting, but then again Dickrod shows no loyalty to local players.

Nick weighs too much to play for Dicky. He has to drop 30lbs and want to play the slot or the spinner positions.

Talent alone, has already said he wouldn't waste scholarships on people he didn't think could play just because he had them to burn.

Nick Hill is a good running back and better kick returner. I live in Chelsea and have seen every game since Nick started as a Freshman. Here is the skinny that I have heard:

Stanford: Current girlfriend is going to Stanford on a schollie also more playing time as a running back.

Notre Dame: Opportunity to play more readily than State at running back plus kick return after Tait. Chelsea Coach is a big fan of ND. Change uni's to match ND's

MSU: loves him at Kick returner!!!

DickRod: Nick is in-line pending outcomes of other offers (i.e. White).

Nick is a very powerful small running back. Mike Hart without the mouth. Good kid.
